I obtained 2 rabbits from the pet store for my kids, I was told they were both female, after having them for 2 months they started trying to make babbies/ humping each other. I called the vet and asked the girl who answered if it was possible that 2 females would act like this, she chuckled and said probably not. So I said I needed to make an appt to get the male fixed. The other rabbit had a lump on it's back and had already been seen once. I asked if I should just get the one with the lump fixed becuase she was already scheduled to go back and have this lump surgically removed. And after being placed on hold was told that fixing the male was easier. So I made the appointment for the male ( or who I thought was a male). So I dropped the male rabbit off in the morning, signed him in as a male rabbit, signed consent for a male rabbit to be fixed, when I picked up the rabbit later that day I was informed it was a female and she was fixed! At no time was I called and told that the rabbit wasn't a male. At no time was I given information that something had changed. At no time was I asked if I wanted the rabbit fixed now knowing this new information. I was charged $160.00. I spoke with the staff and the Dr. himself and no one really took responsibility for what happened. It was brushed under the rug, his response was "well, now you don't have to worry about her getting pregnant." I called back after telling my husband what had happened and asked to speak to who was in charge to again explain how upset I was and was told that the girl who checked me in said I gave verbal consent when I dropped the rabbit off to fix him if he was a female! I never gave verbal consent for that and I told the vet that it was untrue, I told him to look at the consent I signed. I feel like this office isn't taking responsibility for their actions and for this mistake they made. The rabbits are fine but what happened isn't and they are not acknowledging or even apologizing that they made this mistake. I will look for another vet and will not recommend this one. Such a shame.

I didnt really feel comfy with that response as my first visit I was cut short so he can go to the next customer. I then called another office with much better response. Made an appt with the other office for a check up and What a Surprise- my pup started contracting on our way there so we turned around and my dog gave birth to SIX pups with no problem. So glad I went with my gut and I spoke to someone directly not a middle man relaying messages. Maybe I was Lucky, either way I wont be returning here.

Very professional

Very professional, courteous and friendly staff. Their great with pets and seem to really care about the animals.

I will apologize for such a long review....I decided to bring my dog for a check up here since I have Volunteered many hours in this Shelter. I figured I wouldnt mind spending my money in a place I care for. When I called the person who answered was fantastic. Made an appt with no problem at all. Went to my appt and what a disappointment!! I wanted my dog checked- she was pregnant. I also wanted an Xray or exam to check on the pups as she was around 55 days pregnant. All the Vet did was check her Temp which I was already doing. Nothing else!! An Xray was done, not a great one, it showed 3 dogs he said. So a week and a Half later I call with some concern. My dog had showed signs of labor, and wanted to know about her belly feeling a bit hard. The male who answered the phone was going back and forth to someone with a response back. I was told I needed to bring my dog in for an Emergency C Section. Not once did they mention to come in for an evaluation.

I have heard many negative things about this veterinarian, but have not had any bad experiences myself. I adopted two cats from here, one 3 and the other now 1 year old. I've gotten them both fixed here and take them for regular check-ups as well as when I have any sort of issue. I always have a petite young woman with brown hair and glasses and she always is patient with me and explain things fully. I have also had Dr. Blease, the head vet, on occasion and haven't had any problems with him myself either. Until I have a negative experience personally, I will continue to go to this vet office as they have met all my kitties needs very well!
